Rustic charm, refined comfort and the warmth of a mountain home

Bukovica Village is a secluded eco-retreat at 1,442 metres in the village of Gornja Bukovica, between Šavnik and Žabljak. Our 3-star mountain household was built in 2010 from natural stone and wood, and every detail is a tribute to our heritage.

Inside, antique treasures tell the story of Montenegro's cultural soul: oil lamps, wooden chests, a vintage sewing machine and hand-carved instruments. Outside wait a summer pavilion, handmade loungers, a stone barbecue and a swing-bed for watching the stars.

Up to six guests in three bedrooms with five beds. A crib for children up to 3 is free on request. You have the whole 80 m² cabin, garden and summer house to yourselves.

Yes. Pets are welcome at no extra charge. Just let us know when you send your inquiry.

Our main season runs from spring to autumn: green meadows, river swimming, hiking and the best stargazing. For winter dates, send us an inquiry and we'll let you know what is possible.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out until 12:00. Earlier arrival or later departure can often be arranged. Just ask.

A car is recommended, and there are three free private parking spaces. If you arrive by plane, we can arrange an airport transfer on request.
